that is almost an exact match for the factory seat cover. It will look factory
on your R1150R. Note: Tan version is NOT available..
The R1150R Stealth backrest is designed primarily for the stock factory seat. Can it be used with the Comfort seat? Yes, but there are clearance issues and the height of the backrest may be too low for some. Click HERE to see the backrest being used with the Comfort seat. The primary benefit of the line of Stealth backrests is that as soon as your passenger gets off... remove the backrest and ride without looking like a sherpa with all kinds of ugly visible bracketry cluttering up your sleek, beautiful bike. |

Every R1150R Stealth Backrest® comes standard with a quick release knob for "tool-less" backrest removal as well as a standard hex screw if you choose a more permanent mounting method. To remove the backrest with the quick release knob ....just reach under and it's off in 15 seconds. With the hex screw... you'll need an Allen wrench and 3 minutes to lock it into place or to remove it. The furnished Polypropylene knob with stainless steel stud will stand up to any weather condition.. salt, UV, rain, cold, heat, etc.. and looks perfect with the bracketry and on the bike. Easy to reach... stays hidden. |

| Here Ye.. Here Ye: Well.. we've had a good run but the time has come to discontinue production of our venerable R1150R Stealth Backrest. Demand is low and the price of stainless steel has tripled over the last 2 years making further orders virtually profitless.. With that said.. this is our LAST PRODUCTION RUN. Once these (40) units are gone.. there will be no more so if you've been on the fence... this is your last chance to make your move. Consider yourself forewarned. |

| Want to save some money on a backrest? Not as anal as the rest of us poor bastards? On any given day, we may have a few slightly flawed versions on hand. As the brackets are black powder coated, sometimes the process leaves tiny blemishes on the powdered surface...or there may be a slight ding in the metal portion of the slidebar.. or something equally small. I deem some of these "unworthy" of selling at full retail price hence the $35 discount. FYI.. my standards are very rigid. Most people will never notice the flaws when it's installed. Note: The actual padded section on ALL Stealth Backrests are ALWAYS PERFECT. All flaws are on the actual bracket itself which bolts underneath the factory luggage rack. None of the flaws effect structural integrity. Flaws are cosmetic only. Call for availibility before ordering!! 828.628.7093 EST |
