The US-made K1200S/R Lite Buddy's are super bright LED's that go inside your factory turn signal housings. You get 24 LEDs per side! They offer one solution to front or rear visibility (or lack thereof) for your BMW K1200S or K1200R, the new GS, the GS/Adv, and the F800ST. . Lite Buddy's fit inside the turn signal housings, draw only a few milliamps. The FRONT kit burns amber all the time. The REAR kit burns a bright RED through the amber turn signal lenses at all times and 16 of the LED's burn amber when the turn signals are used. FYI.. standard Lite Buddy's do NOT flash. Got Clear Lenses on your mighty K1200S?? No prob! The kits we sell have a white resin body . This means it'll look good behind both AMBER LENSES and CLEAR LENSES. What this means is, you will not be able to see the units behind the clear lenses unless the lights are on. Gives them a sleeker look. So it is written.. so let it be done... ....and for
those who want running
lights AND flashing brake lights we also offer the optional Stop Alert
which when used with the Lite Buddy's will flash 6-7 times when your
brakes are applied and then go back to running lights. It's an easy
4 wire install. |
