This adhesive backed vinyl is 23 mils thick and has a laminated acrylic coating over the base vinyl, allowing it to be thinner yet stronger than "old style" 40 mil lens shields. The hard acrylic coating is more resilient and scratch resistant too. It will withstand a pellet rifle shot from 20 feet with absolutely no damage to the lens! Will not alter the appearance of the headlight like the other options on the market and you don't have to worry about cheesy velcro. Optically clear and treated not to yellow, the one-piece kit is pre-cut to fit your K12RS/GT and will be 100% invisible once installed.. Spray positioning liquid included. Install Guide:
Perfect Application: Wash your hands!! Anything on your fingers will attach to the sticky section of the lens cover. Liberally spray some of the easy positioning liquid (included in kit) onto the lens you are about to cover. Peal off the paper backing from one side (or both) of the Headlight Protector. Press the Headlight Protector to the lens starting at one edge. With moderate pressure, sweep the surface of the Headlight Protector across the lens surface. The Headlight Protector will adhere to lens but will me movable. Work slowly as you pull back another 1 to 1 1/2" of paper until the lens has been fully covered. Position accordingly. Press any remaining large air bubbles out to the edges of the lens. Smaller air bubbles and/or moisture will disappear over time but may take up to 3 weeks to completely disappear. Do not wash the vehicle for 48 hours following application to allow the adhesive to set.
