| G'day everyone.
Just to advise that I've mounted one of Pirates soft headlight protectors
on my GT. After a week or so to allow the moisture to dry, it is undetectableunless
you look, and should give protection against everything but a direct 50cal
hit! Nice product. Wish I hadn't had been swayed by the bloke on the list
who ardamantly stated that these weren't needed cause I got a bloody stone
chip in the lense a week later! Unless you want to pay for a new headight.
Get it from Pirate, as he's a good bloke to deal with. Best wishes. Ken Kemp / 2004 K1200GT / North Queensland, Australia |
| Installation
was a snap! It took about two weeks before it became crystal clear and you
cannot tell there is a cover on the headlight. Gary Blakney / 04 Piedmont Red K12GT / Normal, IL |
| I recently
bought your clear adhesive headlight protector kit. The installation instructions
were very straightforward and it went on as described. I advise anyone gets
one of these be sure that EVERYTHING is clean and lint free cause you not
going to get it unstuck from the adhisive, this stuff is sticky. I washed
the bike, towel dried it with a micro-fiber towel, then blew the headlight
off with compressed air. Here is what you get in the package, the clear
headlight cover, detailed instructions and a spray bottle with what I am
sure is some secret recepe of fluids that Jerry brews up himself. No I didnt
check it for DNA content., lets not even go there. I will let you know in
a few months how it is holding up, hopefully I do not have any close encounters
with rocks from our many dump trucks

been using this product for more than two years and it Works Great. James Myrick / 2001 K1200RS / Fort Worth, Texas |
| The headlight
protector looks good - it went on easy per your instructions and dried out
in a few days. I like it better than the Cee bailey protector as it doesn't
give off a glare in my windshield at night like the Bailey product did.
