The kit includes dual high performance air filters which are mounted to the factory airbox with some strikingly beautiful CNC'd billet 6061-T6 brackets. Typical power increase of the kit is an additional 6hp at the rear wheel along with crisper throttle response and more torque. Also important, the filters utilize a cotton gauze material that can be cleaned & reused. Install is a simple bolt-on affair involving no modifications to your bike. This is the horn I have on my S for this very reason. The Magnum fits in place of the OEM horn and is connected in minutes using basic wiring skills. While the Stebel is much louder than the factory horn, it is not as loud as dual horns or an air horn, however the install is 100% easier than these other type horns and it takes up 1/2 the space. In addition to the main compartment, four zippered storage areas (three main areas and one document holder) are attached to a cleverly designed removable inner tray. On the top of the tray, the three generously sized zippered pockets hold a large number of items. Stuff them all and fill the top cavity of the pod, or remove the tray altogether to open the space into one very large main storage area. The Velcro hinge makes removal of the tray a snap. Hate the looks of those "fugly" license plate helmet locks? The lock and mechanism are made by BMW. Take the new lock to any BMW dealer and they can key it to your foofoo electronic key. The mounting bracket, which will fit both the "S" and "R," is produced here in the US by a fellow K12 rider. We package the bracket and lock together and sell it as an easy install kit.
