The Radar Screamer from SJL Products is simply the best way to hear your motorcycle's radar detector without the need for uncomfortable earphones or the hassel of helmet wiring. The best radar detector in the world is useless unless it can give you a reliable warning signal and here's one bulletproof solution. Works great even while wearing your earplugs.

Enhances the feeble audio warning signal produced by radar detectors so that the motorcycle rider is better able to hear the warning while at speed. No earphones and no helmet wiring is required. All Radar Screamer components are water-proof and remain on the bike allowing the rider maximum freedom. To enhance reliability the Radar Screamer is powered from the bike's electrical system and does not depend on replaceable batteries like the competition. A special interface module drives a 108 dB piezo beeper (pic upper left) . Each kit includes a 3-position low volume/mute/high volume control switch (pic upper right) and, of course.... complete installation instructions.

As we don't play favorites here, Pirates' Lair offers both US made Screamer versions. The Valentine One* version comes with a 2.5mm audio plug and the Passport 8500/8500 X-50 version has 3.5mm plug. Both are plug and play installs. Mounting is 100% up to you and your imagination.

The 2.5 mm audio plug from the Screamer's audio cable plugs directly into the speaker jack on the rear of the Valentine remote audio adapter accessory for the Valentine One detector. The interface module is sealed so that it can remain on your bike during adverse weather, bike washing, etc. A second cable connects to other system components and a source of switched 12Vdc from your bikes electrical system. All electrical connections, with the exception of 12Vdc, are made via a factory-supplied harness with keyed connectors. This makes for a quick, plug and play trouble free installation.
